Successful MSc defense by Giovanni Matabishi

Giovanni presented his MSc thesis Modelling Bat Distribution and Diversity with Artificial light as a Focal Predictor in South Tyrol” today within our EAGLE colloquium and passed successfully. He presented very interesting approaches of remote sensing for modelling the distribution of bat species in South Tyrol using night light distributions among other environmental parameters. The thesis was conducted in collaboration with EURAC, Dr. Chiara Paniccia.

We congratulate him for his successful thesis defense and wish him all the best in his new job in the spatial domain!
