EAGLE visit DLR-EOC

Our EAGLEs in 2018 visited the German Aerospace Center, namely the Earth Observation Center, close to Munich. Various topics were presented by DLR scientist and the EAGLEs had the chance to discuss various topics in small groups with individual scientists.

The presentations were:

  • Optical and radar remote sensing for observing the coastal zone and river basins (Marco Ottinger)
  • Earth observation for vegetation monitoring (Dr. Sarah Asam)
  • Time series analysis of global snow cover (Dr. Andreas Dietz)
  • Sensing the pulse of urban development (Dr. Felix Bachofer)
  • and visits of the ZKI and GSOC

this visit is part of the course by Dr. Claudia Künzer and jointly organized with Juliane Huth
