About
Dr. Tanja Kraus has been working at the German Remote Sensing Data Center (DFD) of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) since 2002 and has been a scientific advisor to the institute’s director since 2008. She received her doctorate from the University of Erlangen in 2008. She specializes in remote sensing with a focus on vegetation parameters and vegetation dynamics, especially in forest ecosystems. Since 2024, she has been coordinating the EO4CAM project, which deals with remote sensing-based information for adaptation to climate change for Bavarian authorities.
